The fight

Sam is a Healer from Second army, one of Darkling's most loyal soldiers, but after his coup she deserts from Second army and runs away in hope that she will be able to find her old friend Sturmhond and join his crew.

But things get very complicated very fast. Her feelings get intertwined with an old love and a promise she made to herself.

But what she doesn't realize is that her heart is in the right place. It always have been.
