Horsetailpaw is the newest Butterfly clan apprentice. She is a smart young cat and even though she has only been in training for a few days, she is doing well so far.
One day, with a patrol, she finds a dead body of her clan's warrior near the border with AntClan. The Butterflies accuse the Ants and the Ants deny it.
Gradually, more and more cats from other clans die, and all the accusations fall on Antclan. A battle is brewing.
Will Horsetailpaw manage to find out what's going on? And who is really behind the murders?
