Prologue

Lily Sterling only had one goal: finish her senior year in Ashley Waters peacefully, determined to leave Charleston without encountering any problems. It shouldn't be a difficult task for someone who has gone completely unnoticed throughout her high school life, right? After all, even when those nine handsome yet strange men appeared two years ago and the blonde, timid girl they were always around with suddenly left town, Lily remained completely under the radar.

Silently observing, but never intruding. She was merely a bystander and she was perfectly content in that. She was confident nothing could ruin her small, albeit depressing and lonely bubble.
