Chapter 1 - The Reunion

Nyx Potter was content to live in the shadow of her older brother. A year behind him and sorted into a different house, she was happy to spend time with James and the Marauders without the attention that came with their popularity.

Years after they'd left Hogwarts, Dumbledore appears on her doorstep, telling her that her family had been killed and Sirius Black was the culprit. He offers her a job as a traveling healer and she takes it, packing her things and soon after.

Now, twelve years later, she's discovered that Dumbledore lied. Harry had survived the attack, and Sirius had just escaped from Azkaban. She confronts him and takes a new job at Hogwarts, knowing she'll have to face her past to help her nephew.
