Description
Ava is Kendall's best friend. Ava knows Kendall has feelings for her, but she can't have any for him. Why? Well, multiple reasons really. For one, she's already married. Second, she knows she can't ever stay with a man long with her condition. Ava's story develops as she admits to her husband of two years that she is unable to conceive children due to a certain type of cancer. But what she doesn't know is who her husband turns into after learning the information. After a fit of rage, her husband is forced to stop raising his hand to her because her best friend, Kendall Schmidt won't let the girl he loves be physically abused by another human being. But Kendall doesn't know that her pain does not end there. He has no idea that Ava is very sick, and her physical bruises don't compare to the emotional ones she carries around within.
