Bahariya Formation, Egypt, 100 MYA

Journey back 100 million years to the middle Cretaceous of Egypt. Instead of sand dunes, camels and pyramids, there are coastal swamps, a variety of aquatic life and dinosaurs. It is here that two of these forms of life come into conflict, the flat-headed crocodile relative Stomatosuchus and the giant, sail backed Spinosaurus.
