This is a story about a woman named Mariska Hargitay-Maxwell who is a pediatrician from LA. One day she gets a call to go to Kenya, Africa to help with their sheltered kids. There she came across a doctor named Christopher Meloni who owned the clinic. She spends a year there learning and falling in love with a guy she had to leave behind. Once back in LA she meets and marries Jim Maxwell, and has a two-year-old son named, Jason Maxwell. One day she gets a call from a pediatrician in Kenya to help at a children's shelter there. While there she runs into an old lover and soon sparks fly, but how long will it last?
