"Your dad and I have been disscussing this for months now and we have decided to be a family." She says, smiling at us both.

"What do you mean by 'deciding to be a family'?" Cecily asks her, crossing her delicate arms over her chest.

Derrick looks at Cecily, nervously.

"We're moving to the United States!" My mom exclaims, grinning.
