jacki hernandez works as a firefighter at station 118, she recently started a few months back after deciding to leave medical school and become a paramedic for the LAFD. with this new environment, and entering the workforce, jacki is dealing with finally being out on the field rather than being in a school building and learning about cardiology. but with those twist and turns of life, involves a certain annoying co-worker by the name of buck, that jacki can't help but hope for his downfall.
