Tea, Part One

Nixie is a girl who suffers from ITP (immune thrombocytopenic purpura). Her life seems bleak, with her condition rendering her unable to experience life as a normal teenager... But one day, when her friends are over at her place, a humanoid creature attacks their house and some of its blood falls on Nixie, bonding with her DNA and giving her a long-awaited cure... But things are not as simple as they seem. Nixie and her friends get dragged into something much, much bigger than any of them could imagine.
