Author's Note

Clarke Creek has been a quiet small town nestled in the woods of northern Vermont for over a decade, but when sixteen year old Claire Padgette insists that there's "something in the woods" things begin to change. Mysterious, unexplainable murders pop up left and right, resembling those of fifteen years ago with the return of a stranger who is believed to be connected to the deaths. Tensions rise as Claire watches herself become more and more involved in the supernatural world living at the edges of her town and the simple world she used to rely on comes crumbling down.
