Gem used to call her home city hell. She was almost completely alone, with an office job she hated.
But then her brother goes missing, and everything changes.
Her older brother, Etho, left Gem his house, boat, and job on an archipelago in the middle of nowhere: fisherman. But she quickly learns that on this island, nothing is as it seems. Horrors are lurking just below the waves.
And they're hungry.
