My whole life, I've been taught that my people were created to serve the Anou. On my 18th birthday, I'm taken from my village and brought to the Stye, the Anou's stronghold, to begin my servitude. Little did I know what that entails. The Anou are cruel and demanding, and they care little about life. The worst of them is Talon. Their leader. My new master. Through the blood that binds me to him, I can't hide my secrets. Talon can read my thoughts. He can see my fears. He can crush my hopes. I'm at his mercy unless I risk condemnation to break the eternal bond. For me to be free, Talon has to die. And for Talon to die, I have to give up my only hope to love. ~~~~ This is my take on Romantasy. It will be dark, spicy, with very morally gray characters. Violence, dubious consent, and abuse might be included. Read at your own risk!
