I have come across a lot of one-shot stories of Death Note characters with a reader as the protagonist. However, I do not enjoy that kind of content. I will try to write a one-shot story without any reader inserts or self-inserts, but instead, it will focus on the interaction between two characters. I want to write it purely based on their motivation and personalities.

I want to clarify that I do not own Death Note or any of its characters. Tsugumi Ohba is the rightful creator of the manga series.
