Fern and Kathy win a contest to meet the Mansion X members (a parody of the Team 10 House). However, it was actually rigged in order to get Fern, and Fern only, to join the group. they invite Fern to an upcoming party, which Fern cannot refuse to pass up. Unfortunately, she forgot that she and Kathy already have plans to film some videos that night.
