Anyway, this fanfic is about Wirt becoming something... something horrible, The Beast. He becomes cursed to carry the lantern with his soul burning in it. He's cursed to harvest the wood of the Elewood tree. Greg, Beatrice and the Woodsman have to figure out a way to break Wirt's curse before he loses all he is.
