Y/N L/N has lived in vault 33 for as long as he can remember, his parents having died when he was young, he was raised in the vault, and he has grown up as a close friend of the Overseer's Daughter, Lucy Maclean. Life in the vault is perfect for them, with Y/N's job in vault security, and Lucy's job as a history teacher.

However their lives are thrown into chaos when one of their own is kidnapped, none other than Lucy's father, the pair decide to leave the safety of the vault and brave the dangers of the wastes, the only thing is, what will they lose on the way to rescue Hank, and by the end will their goals remain the same?
