. Lyrena "Ren" Yulis is a poor orphan girl, surviving off of only what she can steal. Maxwell Keaton is a prince, next in line for the throne, and has everything he could possbly dream of. Everything... except for his own free will. When fate causes their paths to cross, Ren begins to teach him about her way of life, and the two start to become friends. Ren & Maxwell's relationship begins growing into something more than "just friends." But when things go too far, Ren is exiled with nothing but the clothes on her back. Now alone, she finds new friends in a group of pirates. Ren quickly adapts to her new life, but her heart still lingers with the boy she left behind. Maxwell, nearly 18, is forced to look for a suitor. Yet he can't think about any girl other than the one who is out of reach. Will Ren ever make it back to Maxwell? And if she does, would they be able to go back to the way things were? Or will it be too late for a chance at a life together?
