This story is a really weird idea that I came up with a long time ago. I hope you like it. The story itself depicts a misogynistic community in the Northeast US. A lot of it is inspired from my memories of what reading Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and other such magazines is like. I seem to recall them being rather cringe, and despite being for women, were absolutely institutions for the patriarchy. Their faux ideals of sexual liberation and meek appeals to a broader definition of beauty and feminine actualization never broke away from the male gaze, but they were certainly not as bad as some things. Perhaps they are better now, though I definitely don't care. Anyway, this story isn't a commentary on anything, though it has at times I felt like I'm writing one. Perhaps I'm exploring the misogynistic infantilism of traditional family roles (in this case, I'm just pretending that actual children don't exist). All characters are 18+.
