He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named had been vanquished by a mere boy of one. Gone, reduced to nothing. Not a whisper, nor a sighting of him had been reported since that fateful All Hallow's eve in Godric's Hollow. His remaining followers were either clapped in chains or found themselves on the receiving end of the Ministry of Magic's Aurors' wands, refusing to withstand a world in which the being they worshipped was none. People healed. Everyone moved on. Everyone? No. Time was an old friend that had a knack for healing old wounds as it passed. Though in the case of Ceren Crouch, time was an old foe whose passage only seemed to withhold all the healing spells, or even Muggle medicine that had the power to heal her wounds.
