Chapter One

Signing up as ship captain for a lone 10-year space exploration mission sounded like the quiet life Selene had always dreamed of. Until the asteroid arrives that crashes through her dreams and half her ship. She manages to escape on an emergency pod, but the malfunctioning pod crash lands before she can chart her way home. Crash landing on a tropical paradise doesn't seem all that torturous until Selene badly injures herself in a trap. A trap set by the humanoid aliens who live on the planet. Aliens who look almost as human as her. When she's captured by their leader she suspects she'll be tortured or murdered. Until she learns she can communicate with him. And Illgun will only grant her freedom on one condition.
