"Fred of the Mire" is a wonderful and short poem about a toad that triumphs over loneliness and loss meant to reflect on how we all will die but should strive to live our lives to the fullest before we do. Not to mention, the title also includes a clever pun with Fred Meyer. I'm sure you'll find it funny and enjoyable just like I did!
