Abducted from her bed, Meyra is taken from her home by a god to do their bidding. Her task is to solve a famine without being caught by the gods of that world. She must learn fantastical abilities to stay alive and blend in.

In the city of Dovin, she meets three individuals tasked with the same goal. Ren is the one who creates the potions and poisons. Kalin is the jack-of-all trades in magic. Ayra uses weapons, often laced with Ren's poisons, and hunts through the shadows.

The group will meet numerous individuals on their quest. They must travel the continent to solve the crisis with their lives on the line.
