Description
The term "modern mutant" pertains to highly skilled individuals who distinguish themselves from their peers. Ethan, for instance, is one such individual, capable of holding his breath underwater for extended periods, a feat most would deem extraordinary, despite his otherwise ordinary teenage existence. He is not alone, as there are other teenagers with exceptional abilities and talents that challenge societal norms and raise questions about their identities. The narrative centers around six teenagers brought together by Ethan, whose father's wealth and success in business provide him with the necessary connections to locate them. The story then introduces Chris, the sixth member of Ethan's team, who shares similar objectives and strategies but approaches them differently. Chris is not one to flaunt his skills for recognition and initially shows no interest in Ethan's vision of an ideal super team. However, this changes when he is reunited with his long-lost brother, Raymond, whom he believed was lost to him. Their separation occurred at birth, and their unexpected face-to-face encounter leaves Chris uncertain about what to expect, given the years of estrangement and lack of communication between them.
