The world is recovering. Decades of war demolished the surface of our world, but even so, humanity survived. Large supercities span across what was then Canada, where the last people of humanity refuge. Huge walls and electromagnetic domes protect whoever was left from the outside. Aura's world flips to its side when she realizes the world wasn't what she thought. The world wasn't what she was taught. Her heritage somehow links her to the Magliadites.
