Vanessa returned home to her family in the year 2023. Feeling lower than ever she was sent on a job to discover the source of a serum thay takes away the powers of a mutant and she was ordered to kill the maker and destroy all traces of it. Along the way she hits several bulbs before colliding with another job and reuniting herself with the exact people, she was scared to run into.

How she proceeded could be anyone's guess.
