Chapter 1

Grace is an independent eighteen year old girl who always takes care of others but lets no one help her. Astor has been haunted by her presence since they played a round of chess once when they were little kids and saw her again in a contest. They will both discover more about themselves through their relationship, and they will admit to each other things that they haven't even admitted to themselves. Through all of that, they will also create a friend group that is more like family to them.

"Can you walk or do you need me to carry you?" He asks a cocky smile, playing on his lips.

"Go to Hell." I say while walking to the limo.

"Will you be there?" He smiles more.
