Five Pebbles had resigned himself countless cycles ago to the fact that the rest of his existence would be spent in the snow, with only the music of his pearl for company.

A green slugcat had other ideas.

Destiny had found something, she didn't know if it could help her chosen son, but she was a little desperate, so she didn't think twice when the little robot and the green slug with powers beyond her understanding got close enough to the universe.

She grabbed them and hoped things would go okay.
