Quick A/N before we start

Grian is, as far as he's concerned, the last avian on earth. They were all exterminated in the magic purge of 2023, Including his parents, and his brother Jimmy, and sister Pearl. Now, he's hiding in the woods by the town of Boatem, praying no one catches him.

Scar always had a strange fascination with avians, but, as an elf, was never allowed to talk to them. After the purge, however, he sees an avian in the woods, and, well... if it's illegal for that avian to exist, than who cares if his parents said not to talk to them before they all died?
