Description
Lea was studying veterinarian science in Potchefstroom University which is located in the Northwestern Cape South Africa. Her parents had bought her a Hilux Toyota to be able to get around the city but for small drives she saved up for her own bike. The best Yamaha YZF R3. It wasn't as fast as most of the other bikes on campus only having a top speed of 180km/h. It's not much, but it's enough. She was driving around with her Hilux when she saw a bunch of bikes gathered together unknown to her it was a group of people who drove around and raced each other on the abandoned air strip 50km outside of the town. There were a lot of bikes, some she could identify like a few Kawasaki H2r's and Yamaha R1's and even an R1M. There were a few other bikes she couldn't identify. She pulled in next to them since they at a garage (gas station) and asked the first person she saw what was going on and why there were so many of them. The person had removed their helmet to reveal sparkling blue eyes that met hers. Her heart fluttered and a deeper voice responded telling her it was a race meet. They talked a while, and he invited her to meet him there tomorrow same time. A loud voice that sounded commanding told the group its time to leave and he smiled at her putting on his helmet getting on his bike and then the sound of about 20 bikes that started, louder ones, softer ones, all different exhaust sounds. The random guy had left and so did the rest of the bikes and all of them headed in a southern direction. Lea had a small blush creep on her face as she remembered the stranger's crystal blue eyes. Little did she know that that same group of people would cause her a lot of pain and anger but so much more love and joy.
