Heartstrings and Hormones

The notion that virginity is something you "lose," as if it's of value and you are worth less as a person once it's gone, are three things.

One, incredibly offensive. Two, a relic of a medieval, sex-negative, patriarchal society and three, doesn't apply to men.

Virginity isn't special. In this cruel, cruel universe, we've all just been indoctrinated to think it is.
