My mind flitted back to all those times when people would go missing; their bodies never showing up, but instead mysteriously vanishing into thin air. I had suspected something supernatural was at play, but this was the first time I had heard of someone actually returning from oblivion. Curious. "I can't quite put my finger on it," Delalieu admits with an uneasy frown. "They said they had interrogated her for hours on end, but she never spoke a single word. All she would do is stare at us with this cold, expressionless stare. And then, out of nowhere, she'd start screaming, making the soldiers choke in the air...I don't know how she managed to do this but she killed 10 soldiers without even touching them." "Interesting," I say, my brow furrowed with thought. "What do you know about her background? Was she living in the Sector 13 before she went missing?" "Yes, she was actually," Delalieu says, seeming relieved I was willing to listen. "There was this lab in Hawkins, before re-establishment they used to experiment on kids from what we've found out. She was one of the many, but after the re-establishment the place was abandoned, no one was found the scientist is still unknown. We couldn't really find any of her personal information," he says "I see. And where is she now? The girl, I mean," I ask as I stand up from my bed. I was curious to see this mysterious girl for myself. ✄┈┈┈┈
