Waking Up as a Midget Qrow Branwen

Reincarnation was not something I gave much to in life. I read about it in school as a history subject, but still didn't give it much thought.
So imagine my surprise when I wake up as character from the TV show known as RWBY.

Actually, surprise doesn't really fit.
Question, does it count as time travel?
