Author's Note

The Lan Clan opened its place again and invited students who wanted to learn more about cultivation and improve their skills and abilities. In this year's lesson, there are fifteen official students which includes Jin Ling of Yunmeng and Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi as representatives of the Lan Clan. It was a great opportunity for junior cultivators to mingle with each other but Wei Wushian noticed Lan Wangji's worries.

"Are you afraid that A'Yuan's real identity will be found out?" Wei Wuxian asked.

"He's the only living blood descendant of the Wen Clan" Lan Wangji replied. "I'm afraid the world will be cruel to him if it is discovered."
