When Ella was seven years old her parents used to fight and her dad abused her mother. She was seen as an adult in her little sister's eyes. She protected her and kept her safe. Some things are just unable to hide.

Fast forward 7 years.

Ella is now 14 years old and had grown up to be a young women. Her life feels settled. Her parents got divorced and her mom is in a relationship with a great guy and his two sons who are nineteen and twenty one. Her dad on the other hand has a business to look after and some conflicts happening all over the world with his "empire". She never really felt like she belonged anywhere. Not at home and definitely not at school. Until she starts at her new high school... where she meets someone.
