Hogwarts has been overrun by a new acting Headmaster: The Governor, a loyal Death Eater with nothing but determination to finish what the Dark Lord started - with the help of the newly discovered Ancient Magic. As the light at the end of the tunnel nearly fizzles out for Katelyn Emerson, wanting nothing more than death to escape this torturous life, an unexpected student from her past comes back, asking for her help. Reluctantly, she uses him as her way out of the castle, but soon finds herself helping him, along with his questionable friends, to navigate the Wizarding World. Heartbreaking secrets are revealed, boundaries are tested and unexpected friendships are formed, yet part of her still wants to go back in time before everything changed. The constant question in her mind of which she prefers - comfort or chaos - is begging to be answered. Will she ever know what she wants? I was just inspired by the edits online from every talented editor that sparked my interest in writing a book like this.
