She's lurking around the corners, clinging to the edges, her sweetness mixed in the air is slowly suffocating us all. Perhaps all, or most at least are wearing conceit in this mortal masquerade. But some are adorned with the freshness of seas and the coolness of winds; their pride is their honor and dignity. *** Familiarity breeds tolerance; for the past two months on the sea, Nevian has become accustomed to what the young prince had once feared. But perhaps it is only just familiarity because his waning fears might reiterate in the face of new ones. As a powerless prince from a defeated kingdom, his Highness had little say in who he shall marry, and thus according to the royal decree, he is on his way to Bahi, the land of seas, where the young man will find out he has bitten off more than he could chew. In the face of new fears, will familiarity be enough for Nevian or will he lose in a battle of pride he never thought he'd contend much less wage?
