Prologue

A world living in the shadow of the Dark Ages. Creatures that once ruled the whole of humanity now stalk the streets and back alleys by night, and where once mere blood was enough, now, flesh is all that will satiate.
A den of writhing snakes is what remains of the city of angels, and those within plot the downfall of everything. A hundred motivations, a hundred justifications, all rushing to one goal. Peace?
