Her face was now a reddish color, not her normal pale skin that i was used to, her eyes were puffy and I could see her lips moving, saying something, maybe praying. She looked so sad, I didn't understand anything that was going on, my heart was beating fast and I started to slowly panic myself. I wanted to go to my mom and tell her everything was okay, ask if we could go home, where I knew she and dad would protect me from anything. But even I knew that right now nothing was okay, and there was no going back home any time soon.
