Chapter 1

Kye and Ivy have been best friends since they were born in the small city of Silten. They were inseparable, despite the one major difference between them-Kye's family wealth. His parents owned one of the biggest construction companies in the country, making Kye's upbringing a lot more different from Ivy's.

After high school graduation, their paths separate as Kye is pulled into his family's business, while Ivy is left to navigate life on her own as an orphan. After Kye's leaving without a word leaves Ivy feeling hurt and abandoned she becomes determined to rebuild her life and move forward, like he was never apart of it.

Now that they have both pursued their chosen careers and are ready to start their lives, they cross paths once more.
