The night before their first ever date at the junior prom, the two teens share a phone conversation that lasts nearly ten hours. They talk about everything - life, love, hopes and dreams. It was one of those special kinds of nights. A night where they experience the joy and elation of young love. After their love connection, one thing seems clear. Peter and Mary Jane are meant for each other. However, their date with destiny is delayed when a medical helicopter crashes into the side of a skyscraper in downtown Manhattan. Just when things look bleak and innocent lives might be lost, Spider-Man arrives to save the day. Unfortunately, this daring mid air rescue results in the hero being trapped deep underneath tons of wreckage and rubble. Mary Jane Watson is left heartbroken at the 1991 Junior Prom while her date, Peter Parker, fights to stay alive!
