Mira was friends with Azula and Zuko as kids, as she grew up she began to hate the fire nation and was seen as a traitor. Mira was imprisoned at 10 and escaped at 14, she ran into Aang, Katara and Sokka while running away. She finds out they are being hunted by the fire nation and meets Azula again which leads to her catching feelings.
