Chapter one

Klara Berragen is a fourteen year old girl from a small village outside the Austrian city Salzberg. Having just lost her mother, and her father having just left her to fend for herself on the streets, she is at the loneliest point she has ever been in her life.
Klara has always loved music, even having a beautiful voice herself. So, naturally, when she hears the sound of music coming from a small meadow on the outskirts of her village, she decides to investigate, where she happens to meet a young man named Fredrich. Unbeknownst to her, he just might be the person to change her life forever.
