NOTE: This fic is very OC heavy. Very little canon events or characters will be featured. ===== Based off of Nintendo's Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion, what if there were four escapees instead of one? Vai Venci, a young upcoming engineer at Kambo Co., is at least contentedly happy in her Deepsea Metro home with her good friends by her side. After a spectacular failure, Vai starts to feel the pressure, and it seems that her close friends do as well. All four of them fully understand the consequences of being caught as a fugitive, which makes them apprehensive about running away. That, and their families and friends are underground, and they'll be staying there. Will Vai and her friends agree to escape the underground and leave everything they love behind? Even the toughest diamond has a breaking point...
