Characters

Marcelene is one of many children hidden in the asylum that had been turned into a lab and a holding center for, "special children", aka children who had been found and whose parents vanished in the apocalypse years earlier. As she lives life in the only place she's ever known, with the only friends she's ever known, she finds not all is what it seems and maybe they have all been lied to.
