Description
Elizalee moves in with her father after the lost of grandmother. Her father is unaware of past and pain that she carries with her. New year, new school, new town and new people. Azeen shrugs and snuggles up next Kasen. "I'll pass." Jake grumbles. "Wasn't it your dream to play?" Tyreke asks. "Well, I fucked up, ok. Can we drop it?" Jake groans and leans back. "Like a basketball." Tyreke chuckles. "But just like a basketball, it bounces back." Jake looks at me frowns but I just smile at him. "Sometimes chasing your dreams is like chasing a butterfly. It may seem hard but if you don't give up, you'll catch it eventually." "And what if that butterfly dies?" Jake asks me. "Find another one." I shrug. "Or you could try resurrecting the butterfly." Tyreke says which cause some of us to laugh. "How are you supposed to resurrect a butterfly, Tyreke?" Mike looks at him. "I don't know, you tell me." Tyreke defends himself. "They're the ones talking about chasing butterflies and what happens if the butterfly dies." "For fuck sakes, Tyreke." Kasen laughs.
