"Citizens, today is a day I have been waiting for since my sidekick joined me." Scar's father said, nodding towards Scar before turning back to the crowd of people. "Today, I am retiring, and Hot Guy is going to take over as the town's superhero." Scar's father said, holding up Scar's hand. - Andrew smiled as he looked at their new house. He turned to his son, who just glanced around. Grian takes a deep breath and he smiled weakly. Andrew smiled back and hugged him. "Remember, we're in this together." - Grian just moved to a new town and plans on just living a normal life. He doesn't want trouble, drama, none of that. That all changes when he becomes friends with his neighbor Scar. Scar was secretly the town's superhero and had to lie to his friends about it in order to protect them. Grian gets caught up in a huge mess once Scar tries to be friends with him and it all snowballs. Scar's friends start to wonder why he keeps avoiding their hangouts, unaware he's the superhero, Grian starts being confused on how he feels about Scar, and it's topped off with a new villain showing up and stirring the pot. - "Have you ever tried to live in the world? Experience what it's like before you destroy it?" Jimmy asked in a small voice. Vince looked down, "We...can't." He sighed, folding up his owl wings and looking up in the broken world. "Why not?" Jimmy whispered. "It's not that simple." "But why can't it be?" Vince looked into Jimmy's eyes, and he sighed. "I can't just live there with you guys. No matter how much I wish we can." Vince whispered, tugging at his cape. He watched as other Watchers walked into portals.
