I always walked with my shoulders hunched, eyes often cast downward, as if I were afraid to meet anyone's gaze. Yet beneath my insecurities, lay a longing for acceptance and validation, a desire to break free from the chains of self-doubt and discover my true worth.
I never knew I would walk down the hallways with people staring at me as if I were a whole different person.
