Prologue

When 16 year old Autumn's parents divorce, she chooses to live with her mom and brother, moving from Sam Francisco down to Los Angeles. With prior relationships not working out, of her own and her now divorced parents, Autumn doesn't really believe in love. That is, until she goes to her new school and meets the popular boy Casey, or CJ. At first, he's super cute, then he turns out to be a complete jerk. Of course, that doesn't help Autumn believe in love again, but as much as he is a jerk, he is really cute. How bad can he really be? People get used to people all the time, especially when they both secretly *or not so* like each other.
