Everything changes after high school. Post-graduation leads young adults on journeys of self-discovery and actualization. Some choose to continue their education while others jump straight into the workforce or even start a family of their own. Typically, this is a welcomed and celebrated part of life. That's not the case for Beau Coleman. The former star of the football team has been on a downward spiral after failing to graduate from high school six years ago. Once cocky and sure of himself, Beau now struggles to find a steady job as well as a purpose in life. He thought that he finally hit rock bottom with no way out until he runs into his childhood neighbor, Everett Fowler. Can Everett provide a sense of direction for Beau and his derailed life? More importantly, should he? After all, the quarterback had only ever bullied him when they were younger.
